Any insights on how to get the sides straight using hand sanding?
Somehow the extremities of my side are a little bit curved.

Use a sanding block. If you sit the body on a table you can also rest the block on the table to maintain the 90° angle. This is why I bought an edge/spindle sander. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

use a double cut file and mark out some guide lines to follow. |
