I had forgotten what a rock beast these little guitars could be. Flamed Australian Red Cedar drop top, Mahogany body and neck, Rosewood fretboard, Nitro finish and the amazing Mick Brierley hand wound P90 pickup. Bring back my punk days, I'll be destroying my ears in the shed. Attachment: IMG_2762_sm.jpg Attachment: IMG_2764_sm.jpg Attachment: IMG_2765_sm.jpg Attachment: IMG_2766_sm.jpg

Really great pictures too. How do you get that crisp white background and subtle shadows? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro |

These shots were taken with my iPhone in my lounge room against a white wall and standing on a white piece of furniture. I then brought them into Photoshop and cleaned them up. I'm a Graphic Designer so I guess I have an advantage. I can probably put together a tutorial based on one of these pics to show the process if people are interested. |

There was a good thread on photographing guitars, but it involved building a large plexiglass box painted white on the inside and an overhead lighting rig. If you got those results with an iPhone and leaning the guitar against a white wall, I’d love to learn how. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro |

Can I ask, did you use straight nitro or pre-cat? Where did you get it from in Aus? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
