Ok, I've got the neck blanks for my next two builds (Thanks again, Hibdon Hardwood!), 2 neck-thru solid bodies.

The boards are big enough to make the neck/center section of the body from one piece, but I imagine making it from 3 pieces will give it more stability. Here are my questions:

If I rip it in three pieces, how do I re-orient that middle piece? Rotate it on its axis? flip it end for end, or both?
Thanks again for all the help!

What kind of wood? Might make a difference in the advice. If they're off quarter a bit, I might try for a /\/ appearance at the end grain.

Honduran Mahogany is very stable one piece should work fine. Same thing on the three piece orient them to where it looks its best. Good Luck

Huh, I guess I forgot to mention that it's honduran mahogany. One board is quartered really good, the other not as good. I may just do one of each...
