It's been a long time since I've posted , finally about 80% recovered from a bad motorcycle accident .

This project is for a dear friend . Top : Flamed sapele / core chambered Poplar / back Flamed Maple
Finish : bourbon dye / shellac / nitrocellulose

Pickups Lollar P90 / controls : 3 way vol/vol tone orange drop caps and trble bleed circuits on the Emerson Pro 250 K pots Tuners Gotoh keystone locking / Bridge : Schaller roller

a very deep tennon design , I wanted to keep the pretty back intact the back is 7/8"

I built a chambered LP clone a while back with flamed Spanish cedar over mahogany

It is almost an exact twin to my other LP clone - same pups and all except it is maple cap and not chambered. There is a slight but noticeable difference in sound, there is a huge difference in weight.

Yes, first drilled out as much waste as possible

Then made a template and screwed it onto the body and started cleaning up what was left
