Post subject:  Inlays for a BASS

Hi All, sorry about the number of new topics, but I thought I'd get my questions out the way!

I may have to do a 'Tree of Life' inlay on an ebony fretboard, but for a BASS (34"scale).

Could anyone let me know where I would get the pre-cut M.O.P from? Preferably in the UK, but it does look a bit hard to come by over here!

I have had DePaule pearl do custom work for me. I've sent them photographs and drawings of inlay that I wanted and they have been able to scale it to the size I want. You will pay a one time setup fee as well as the cost of the pearl. However look thru their offerings - they might already have what you need

I also asked them to provide the CITES paperwork for inlay on a guitar that I just shipped from the US to Austria so they should be able to handle that part of the hassle for you
