Thanks! The color is a happy accident. I ordered angelous leather dyes and got "medium brown" by accident. Not really brown at all, but more of an orange. Couldn't really get a burst effect, so ended up highlighting the figure and doing the whole thing in this garnet amber.

It's very well done and I see a very keen design eye there too!

Traditional "F" holes actually had a purpose beyond being kind of sort of sound ports or that traditional F shape. The points on the F holes are intended to be markers of a decent starting place to locate the bridge. If you recall archies often do not have pinned bridges so if you remove all of the string you get a big surprise, the bridge falls off too....

So using the F hole points to initially locate the bridge will get you pretty close to where the bridge should be so that the full range of independent saddle adjustors, if present...., can work as they were engineered to work.

Looks like your implementation of the F holes lets you do this too with the fat part of the lower most ports being about right for bridge alignment.

I also like the very narrow upper bout and the big, fat lower bout. Kind of reminds me of something but I just can't place it at the moment... :)

Very well done and the guitar has a vibe to it that I know lots of semi-pro players who would love to play out with it too.

Really nice !
I too love the color,
and the back of the guitar is even nicer than the front, to me.
Love the neck and back cap on the peghead.
How does it sound acoustic?
