Post subject:  Bass relief and action query?

No reply on the electric guitar and bass section, so...
I have a Ovation Elite 5 String Acoustic Bass Guitar (not as nice this one!) in for some work. Neck's like a banana, hope the truss rod is OK.
Could anyone tell me how much is ball park relief, and action @ 12th, for an acoustic bass?

Acoustic bass guitar relief is usually the same as for an electric bass. Wish I could help more than that.

Low as you can go,
with no buzzing.
Bass players are really fussy about that!

I was taught to use 3/32" on bass side and 2/32" on treble side.

^^^^ What he said. ^^^^
Minimal relief in the neck.
Play until your fingers bleed.
