Purchased a second hand one recently but one of the 'V's badly damaged ...about an inch of wood area damaged....black lacquer missing BUT also the ivory white border/inlay (circa 2-3mm x 2") please see images attached. Can anyone advise how to tackle this? Regards Microbialt (Tony)

Take your pictures from further back, it appears that it can't focus that close.
