Purchased a second hand one recently but one of the 'V's badly damaged ...about an inch of wood area damaged....black lacquer missing BUT also the ivory white border/inlay (circa 2-3mm x 2") please see images attached. Can anyone advise how to tackle this? Regards Microbialt (Tony) |

Need better pics. Looks like dutchman central, and new binding, and a refinish, unless you can blend in a touch up. |

Take your pictures from further back, it appears that it can't focus that close. |

This is going to be remove a chunk, fit in a chunk, true and level, refinish. Big job! |
