While I really love building acoustics I also wanted to get back to building some electric guitars as well. Here are some pics of my latest creation. Here are some of the specs

Solid mahogany, no weight relief with a hard maple cap
Ebony FB with a compound radius
Mini humbuckers custom wound by me
ABR type bridge on Nashville studs
Kluson tuners

Mighty nice, Brian. That's one of my favorite finish colors, too.

That's really nice Brian. Did you decide not to put weight relief in to acheive a particular sound? What is a ABR type bridge and what are Nashville studs? Is that something I might want to use on my next electric?

I like how you took a classic design and made it your own.

I love it Brian!
The neck to body joint looks perfect.
The binding is really nice, I have no idea how you did it.
The fret markers are sweet!
Always like you headstock and logo design.
The color and finish is awesome!

I rarely stand to play anymore so weight was not an issue to me. I don't know that it has any real effect on tone.

The ABR bridge is the original style tunamatic. A nashville bridge is the new style tunamatic. I never liked the ABR studs just threaded int the wood and the fit of the threaded studs in the holes on the bridge itself was always sloppy. The adjustment studs of the Nashville type fixed these issues but I do not care for the larger bridge that goes with them so I fitted the ABR to the newer studs and I like the way it works.

Looks awesome Brian! Always love your fret marker inlays, but they look especially cool on this one.

I always enjoy seeing what little twist you are going to take on something... and this is no exception. Quite nice!

The finish was achieved by using solar-lux dye stains.
First the maple cap was prepped and stained blue.
This was sanded back to highlight the figure and sealed.
A toner was made with medium red mahogany and sprayed
Then it was cleared.
