Has anyone bought wood from Maderas Barber? Been eyeing some of their electric body blanks but don't know much about their reputation or quality. Thanks! |

I've spent several thousand dollars with Maderas-Barber mostly on fingerboards, back/sides sets and neck planks and always been satisfied with their quality and price. |

Cool, does the wood still need to be dried for a good amount of time? How fast are they in processing and shipping? |

I haven't bought anything for a couple of years so I can't comment on the current status of their service. I never trust vendors to supply cured wood so always plan to let it cure for several years. I don't buy top wood from them since in my opinion there are better vendors for spruce (Akustik tone woods for example) who are not only far better but much cheaper. |
