Post subject: | Re-profiling a Fender Neck |
I bought a cheap Squire Strat at action to practice fretwork on. I think the neck profile is very thick and clunky. Is there any reason I cannot reshape it to my liking? Thanks, |

So long as you leave enough wood over the truss rod, no reason at all. |

I did it on a Squier Strat using the 60's Fender neck profile template from here http://www.luthiersuppliers.com/products/p10-1.html Worked fine. Kevin Looker |
