Just completed my second electric guitar - based on a Les Paul size and shape but chambered and with a thinner top so it isn't carved as much. Mahogany neck and body with a Spanish cedar "drop top", rosewood fretboard, binding, pickup rings, knobs and truss rod cover. Finish is KTM-9 over Zpoxy. Here is the body showing the chambering |

Looks great, Freeman! I've been stalking your build postings on another forum. Mine's coming along pretty well, almost identical construction to yours. I doubt mine will look as nice as yours. Dan |

Freeman, that sure is a pretty top. I like your wood choice and the way you have joined the pieces to display the figure. I also love that warm orange color! I don't believe I've ever held or played a chambered guitar like this, but I've held quite a few LPs. Seems like your guitar would be a lot easier to wear all night. Nice job, man! |

Angling the stripes is very cool. You could actually affect the overall perception of the guitar by how they angle. If you put them the opposite way I'd think it would give a bit of a sinister look. Or it would be neat on a flying V. Very nice work for the second build. |
