Hi everybody. I have been building acoustic type guitars for a while now and was wanting to build myself a new electric guitar. The guitar I want to build is a Neal Moser Siren. After building a Bastard V it should be no problem but I can't find the right sized pieces of wood in order to do so. As most of you know his shapes are a few inches longer going north south than a regular guitar. About 26-28 inches in total length. Only problem is I can't find anything longer than 24 inches. So do any of you know where I can find an affordable piece of Alder or Bass wood that has a length of around 26-27 X 15 inches? |

Check with Bow River Specialty Woods. It's been a while since I was there, but they should still have some alder, if not alder and basswood, that they can custom cut for you. Their link is in the sponsors section above. |
