I had to remove the fret board off of my latest build as I wasn't happy with my glue lines, now it is seriously bowed forward. I don't imagine it's fine to glue it back with this bow to it, what say you? Is a fretboard scrap after removed? It's not fretted yet, so I presume that fretting would put the board itself into a back bow, or possibly put it back straight...? Anyone have experience with this they wouldn't mind sharing?

remove the fretboard & ditch & get a new one....or if anything start over with new neck all together.......trust me we have all made firewood from time to time...its all part of the plan!

Mark I would be more concerned with why the glues were bad and what you would do to correct that issue. I really don't see a problem with re-using the FB if you can get a good glue joint.

I had used gorilla glue when I originally glued it up. the glue line was too noticeable, so I bought tite-bond. hopefully it makes a difference. It's a neck through guitar and all mahogany, so I REALLY hope i don't need to scrap the neck too, lol. It wasn't cheap by any means

You are going to need to clean all the urethane glue off both surfaces really well if you expect the titebond to hold. I don't get why folks think they need epoxies, urethane or any exotic glue for a fretboard.
