A couple of guys from a local band collected their new 336s this week. They now have five of my guitars between them and the bass player has asked me to make a Jazz Bass for him. Pity I don't build drums!

Very nice, Colin!
I envy your artistic skills.
Dan
P.S. I'd really like to see progress of the Jazz bass you are starting.

Beautiful guitars, Colin. How did you go about carving the top and back (i.e., safe-t-planer, planes, chisels, sanding)? Did you have any sort of template for the carve or did you just wing it?
