New 5 String bass finished. Check it out. Made custom for Toby Driver of Kayo Dot. He's off to record a new album next month. Hopefully we'll hear this bass on it! Awesome musician, honored to do some work for him.

For those who like specifics:
Burl maple top/walnut body
Walnut neck
Katalox fretboard, cocobolo moon inlay
29 regular frets + 6 quarter tones = 35 frets total
Hand wound jazz style pickups
Stereo wiring

Thanks. You're welcome to, however it's a long drive from Calgary.

Thanks.

Do it. If you can think of any reasons not to, they probably aren't good enough.

Very nice!
The headstock is killer.
Did you use local wood?
I bet that sucker is heavy, but basses are supposed to be.

Thanks.

Not too heavy really, but I wouldn't call it light. The walnut for the body may be local, not sure though. Neck is Peru walnut that I had laying around. the burl top I got from a friend who had it in his closet for years, I'm sure he doesn't remember where it came from.
