I have had this trem kicking around for years and want to use it for a project....
It is really well made
But as you can see the blades have no indents for anchor pins..(so could slide sideways) they are also very small...7mm wide by 3mm deep and look like they might hit the top of a pin as they are inside the string pattern rather than out side as is usual w FR and Gotoh
I was wondering if anyone knows what this is or can think of a way to mount this

if no other news turns up, you might be able to grind your own semi circles into the wedges, and then bevel that new edge, and get that to work with standard posts......lotta fussing around though
edit: just re-looked, my idea won't work. hm

Geez...... haven't seen one of those since the late 80's..... might be an early Wilkinson? Or is it an old Schecter? You've got me racking my brain, now. Back in the day I was Mr. Twangulator.... I should know what that is.

Whatever the brand was - it had a little bar that screwed over the outside holes (of the 6) normally drilled for a Fender vibrato. Had two little niches for the bevel points to fit into.

I remember those! Floyd Rose kinda stole their thunder. Definitely missing the other part that mounts to the body. I thought they were called "super bars".

I did turn up these, looks like the same design

Might be able to get the other part from them.

Thanks guys
Well it appears i may have lost a piece over the years it may show up..
Machine shops here are the modern Pirates of the caribbean so it would probably be cheaper to buy a whole new unit.
casting my mind around for a fix I may modify the striaght caul from my stewmac fret press which is so close and never used.

Those Bladerunners are cool. But rather than pivot points, they actually have spring steel inserts that bend and return to their position. And they recon it can do it thousands of times. Never hangs up so tuning is always stable and give better transfer to the body apparently. I got one and its very nice. They also do a magnetic trem stabiliser that will hold for bends or hand strumming but releases for trem work. Works great. They do a cool looking floyd rose version with a very gnarly alien looking nut lock.
