Do most tube amps need 110v or 220volts? I am in the process of remodeling my shop and now is the time to run a new outlet if needed. I have looked at a few different websites but there is nothing about the voltage in the specks.

any amp designed for/sold in the US market would be like any other small electronic appliance, ie, 110(actually usually above 120) volts AC.
some welders and washing machines and some shop equipment use 220 line, but not guitar amps.
if you have an amp that was imported from england or something exotic, then yes it needs 220.
often there is a line level switch on more expensive amps, to select line voltage depending on what country you are in
