Im curious how you guys put your logos on your guitars. I dont want to buy the necessary equipment for inlay, and Im afraid that the outline of a decal would be clearly visible under the finish. Whats your method? -Alex

I use decals and inlays. To get the decal to not show an edge, you just need more finish on the area in question. Then sand it level. I have a pic in the black limba thread I posted recently. I can't upload a pic from my phone for some reason.

I've heard that works fine, what Tony said. What I did but I haven't really used yet is I got a stamp made with my logo on it. You can also get a branding iron. Now I kind of want something that will literally imprint my logo into the headstock and then I can fill it with bone dust or something cool looking.

I have been using vinyl letter decals embedded under the lacquer. Looks good.
