Hi All, Just wanted to wish you all a Merry Christmas and thank you all so much for a great year (Happy Holidays for whatever your belief as well). This forum has been nothing short of amazing in the past year, it has been so awesome to meet so many builders from around the world and your support has been nothing short of phenomenal. What really knocked me out was seeing all of YOUR builds (You thought it was all about me!) I even got to talk with some of you on the phone and I even got to meet theGuitarWhisperer in person - all of you have some pretty spectacular talents and I really appreciate all you have given to me in this journey (even got an inlay job out of one of ya - thanks Tony!) Tonight, I ran across a YouTube video I made 4 years ago this week and thought you all may like it - I am playing on one of my favorite guitars - it's a Gibson Smartwood made out of Peroba. This guitar feels like an old baseball glove that won every game and was well kept with banana oil (just not as slippery) Hope you all have a prosperous new year - I will be getting back on my builds as soon as I am done with my Fretboxes. lol alan, coffee, cigarettes and chocolate, oh yeah and add guitar building to that list now! they wouldn't complain about my smoking if they saw what I used to do in the 70's, 80's and half of the 90's lmao |
