Does anyone know if the Stewmac Strat pickup ring for single coil will work for an EMG Select model SES pickup? |

It should but the EMG pickups usually have square bottoms below the mounting ring. The mounting ring will work for the pickup definitely, but you will have to check the guitar cavity to make sure the pickup fits the body cavity when the ring is installed, and you may need to excavate wood for that. |

Chris Its a legitmate question (one that I dont know the answer to) I have had emg humbuckers that would not fit standard pickup rings without filing them down. for some reason the covers are just larger on emg pickups. |

Is there a standard dimension for screw spacing and length and width of the pickup? |
