Hi, Everyone!

I actually built this guitar a while ago, but I was never happy with the finish (it was brushed on, and I didn't know then what I know now...enough said.) SO... I took the plunge, disassembled it, and finished it *better*. It's not what it could be, but it's what I can make it now.

Body is Sitka spruce, top is spalted maple, binding is maple, neck is Paldao or PNG Walnut, fretboard is ebony.

Enjoy, and thanks for looking!

That's a nice looking guitar, there! Good job.
As for refinishing, I have one in exactly the same position; the instrument is well built, and it sounds and plays better than any other guitar I've ever owned. But the finish leaves a lot to be desired. I had to finish it in a hurry. As soon as I know the weather will let me(late spring, I'm afraid), I'll be doing a refin on it as well.
Again, looks great! Good job!

That's a very cool spalting. Nice job of picking your wood placement, I've seen stuff that was painted that wasn't laid out as nice as that. Very nice guitar!

Thank you all! You've been so kind.

I took it to a craft fair this weekend (my first show in which I was presenting my own work), and this got as much attention as the other two acoustic guitars and one mandolin combined. I may just have to build another one or two.

Looks like nice work! I'd say build more, hone your craft!
