If any can help please. Will the wiring be the same as the LP except for soldering the hot wires right to the jack?

Close. The hot from the pickups goes to the center lug and the full-up lug of the pots go to the volume pots. Go to the link below, click on the diagram radio button, and scroll down a little and you'll see a box on the right that confirms this.
