Well done. That's a nice headstock. Nice headstocks are hard to come by. Very nice shape and I like your bridge. Is this guitar for your personal use? |

Hi, Herry! Great job, especially on your first! I really like the finish, and the bridge and knobs compliment it nicely. The countersinks for the knobs and switch were well thought out and executed, and add a touch of class. Your wood choices work well together, and the contrasting fretboard is stunning. I really like the mandolin references, especially the point on the lower bout, and the headstock. Really tasteful. I was going to offer a critique on the upper horn, as it looked a little out of proportion or out of place slightly, but in going back through the pictures, it seems it was just the angle of the camera shot. In the straight-on picture of the back, it looks "right" to my eyes. |

Thank's to you all.. First time I interested on accoustic but my son told me to build the electric for him (he interested jazz and blues), so I built for him, so this guitar for personal use only. But some time I'll build the electric again, my next project is parlor, small guitar I'll build for my best friend. Yes, Mark that headstock and the lower bout I inspire from mandolin.. Lincoln... maybe from the foto angle, actually this is little enough guitar... previously I want to use the tailpiece but the lower to short, so finally I use ferulle. Thank's Stuart,,, your guitar's building is full inspiring to me,... the sound quite crunchy, that is I unexpected because of the wood bridge so the teakwood fretboard, some friend in my country told to me that teak sound have the deadsounding... but now I know that's nice sound... thank's |

I'm not a big fan of electrics, but man did you nail this one. I really dig the natural look, choice of woods and the overall chocolatey look of the thing. I'd definitely love to plug that thing in and let it rip. Great Job, Joey |
