I recently decided to refinish a cheap old Dean, using some cans of spray paint (because I'm poor.) I started stripping all of the parts off of it and I got down to the ferrules when I realized I had no idea how to remove them. I looked around online and found instructions saying to tap them out with a screwdriver and a hammer, so I tried that, and it turns out the thing has two ferrules in each hole, one in each side. Now I'm left with some I can't get out and one that's embedded in the wood, and I was wondering if anyone could give me some advice on removing them.

By the way, I'm new here, and this is my first post. I'm sorry if I was supposed to post an introduction somewhere, I didn't find anywhere to do that.

If it has ferrules on the top and back?,
you could get a thin steel rod that would fit through the holes in the ferrules,
and carefully tap them out of the other side.
Ferrules can really be a drag, man.

I always find that if you find a screw with a slightly larger diameter than the hole, screw it in till it bites and then pull it out it usually works. If you want to save the finish of the guitar, heat the metal with a soldering iron but that does not seem necessary in this case

Thanks for the help guys! I managed to get them out, but I messed up the finish a bit. That's fine though, because I'm redoing it anyway!
