Planning stages. Do you suppose this semi-hollow design will work as far as not feeding back? Is there a formula or a certain rule to follow when designing? I figured if the control cavity is separate from the chambers it would work. Am i wrong in assuming this? would there be any tonal differences between this and making it one big chamber? or this one (my first idea of the chamber) Thanks for any suggestions. |

I built something similar with two chambers many years ago. The current owner has never complained about feedback troubles. In fact, he still thanks me for building it every time we talk. I didn't foil it, or use shielding paint. The Duncan pickups have been quiet enough. |

If the pickups are on a solid area you won't have any troubles. |

Getting back to it after waaaaaay too long. I have lost/misplaced my tailpiece since I took the top photo. The stain that I used on the body is getting sanded off and reapplied later. Im really looking forward to getting this guitar finished. Ive missed building. |
