Hi,
I have an unfinished solid ash bass body that I have grain filled with an oil based grain filler.
I have then coated the body with sanding sealer, sanding in between coats as I go along.
When this was all prepared the body looked good and felt smooth.
I then sprayed on the white base coat when this dried there were a few bits of unfilled grain showing through. What is the best thing to use to fill this grain with,I have tried the oil base grain filler that I initially use but this dosen't seem to fill the grain.
