Got my GFS dream 180 bridge pickup. To be honest I'm doing the unthinkable; HOOKING IT UP TO A GIBSON PICKUP beehive eek

Anyways... It looks small... Its the same size every way compared to the Gibson pickup. Though it looks small. BUT we all know looks can be deceiving right? Hoping it sounds good but now saying that: I wanted to wire that up to my Gibson pickup to a lever switch i too got from guitar fetish along with pots and capacitors. Anything to worry about?

PS im re-wiring my Ibanez GIO. Completely. eek

Do you mean you are wiring it with the Gibson pickup?
I don't know what hooking it up TO a Gibson pup.

What are the ohms rating on those 2 pickups?
I'd put the hotter one next to da bridge.

dream 180s are good pickups, ive got a set in a guitar i finished recently and i like them a lot.
if you have never wired up a guitar before there is a thread that was just posted a week or so ago that is all about soldering techniques that will be very useful to you. other than that good luck.

The only problem i have with the dream 180 is i have no idea which side points where but the answer is most likely obvious.
