Anyone have any good drawings of the prs birds? My friend wants me to make him an ebony fretboard with the bird inlays. I think prs glue their fretboards to the neck with epoxy so removing the old one will be difficult, anyone done it?

Not the best drawing, but somewhere to start at least. Good luck!

Thanks very much for the reply, I never thought it would be so hard to find good images, my friend's friend has a PRS with birds so maybe I could trace them.

The PRS Birds inlay is copyrighted. You cannot copy it without permission from PRS. I suggest you come up with your own design for this job.

Why not just make up your own birds?

You could call PRS and see if they will sell you a set. I mean...they are going on a PRS, right?

You could buy these from "inlaidartist" on Ebay

http://www.ebay.com/itm/INLAY-WHITE-MOP-FINGERBOARD-HEADPLATE-GUITAR-321-/220828055576?pt=Guitar_Accessories&hash=item336a60b818

I know several people who have purchased from him.
