I have not posted in a while, so I figured I would show you what I am up to.

This is a new doublecut 6 string design for me. When it is completed, it will feature the blended body / neck joint, and a full carved top. I am trying something new with the binding in that I used a full laminate of curly aspen under the macasser. Then I will carve the macasser down precisely to the aspen to reveal just enough to be a binding - you can see the start of this is one of the pictures.

The macasser top is a 10 piece laminate. I oops ordered to crappy sticks from ebay, and felt inspired enough one day to try to work with them. I have just enough to make the top you see.
