| Post subject: | Fender veneer fretboard construction process? |
Hi guys, Has anybody here made a neck with a veneer fretboard (63'onwards)as opposed to early slabboard. I'm told Fender at first bent the fretboard to the radius of the neck blanks but later actually shaped the freboards to the radius(I would of thought this method would of been very wasteful). Anyhoo,anybody made this style and if so could explain there process. Many Thanks for any replys. |
