I'm curious about obtaining a consistent supply of body blanks. I'm building with mahogany right now which is easy enough to obtain in small quantities but I want to deal directly with wholesalers because I intend buy at higher volumes. Do any of you have suppliers of body blank mahogany up the supply chain any further than the typical "retail" suppliers of tonewood? If not mahogany then perhaps another type of tonewood? |
