When I was fretting my guitar project I accidentally spilled some stew-mac thin super glue on the neck. I put one coat of tung oil on the neck and there are obvious yellow stains where the glue spilled. What should I do to remove the super glue? The neck is flamed maple. |

CA debonder will soften the glue but if it is soaked into the wood it might not totally remove it. I got some on an acoustic top once and got it out but it was a pain and requires some sanding also. Fred |

If you had pore sealed with epoxy you will have to sand that area to wood re-pore fill. Other pore fills may react to the CA diffently Without taking the neck back to bare wood. no mater what you do you will likely have a noticable difference in hue there. How much of a difference is hard to know in advance. |
