I started using KTM-9 recently and it seems to be really easy to use. It does need to be strained before spraying, but besides that it does dry very quickly. I can usually apply another coat 15 minutes after the previous one was sprayed and can also sand out any numbs just as quickly.

Love that color! I'm a purple (and pink hence my obsession with pink ivory wood) fan and not afraid to admit it.
Chris

You know what's strange - is that I mixed only red and black in hopes of getting a deep, dark red color, but here it is and it looks more purple. It's going to someone who likes it regardless though.. :D

Great color, looks like you used red wine to do it... [:Y:]

Nice guitar too... ;)

Thanks for the comments on this one.

I was curious to see what color hardware you would want on this if it was yours. I can go gold or chrome on the wraparound and tuners. I was thinking amber speed knobs either way.

What do you think??

I don't care for gold hardware. Ever. But for some reason I'm thinking that Gold would set off the purple much better then chrome. If it was my choice I would have my first guitar with gold hardware! [:Y:]

Royal purple is always nicely offset with the royal metal - gold.
