I've wired my share of guitars, but this is going to be a toughy. I've built a strat to emulate, and hopefully improve upon my trusty workhorse, the American Deluxe HSS. It has SCN pickups and an S1 switch. The new guitar has the following;

SCN single coils in all three positions
Stew Mac E-series megaswitch
S1 switching
LR Baggs X-bridge piezo trem
LR Baggs ctrl-x preamp

If I had a standard Fender 5-way, or even the 5-way that comes with S1 equipped guitars, it would be a lot easier to figure out, because Fender provides schematics for that, and LR Baggs provides schematics for incorporating their stuff into a strat (albeit not an S1 strat). The real challeng is with the inclusion of the StewMac switch. Yes, I could order a switch from Fender, but I much prefer the action of the Stew-Mac switch.

Any takers?

Update - last night I mapped the whole thing out and quickly realized that what I want to do is not possible using the Stew-Mac switch, or any 8-terminal switch. So, now I'm trying to re-map it using a 24 terminal super switch which is, by the way, the switch that is on the Deluxe HSS strats and the Deluxe Upgrade strats. Any input is appreciated.

Without knowing exactly what you want to accomplish (i.e how many options, and what they are) - but guessing they are many - I highly recommend the SM super switch, it will give you the most options.

Here's a schematic of the S1 switch if that helps:

Thanks Eric, but I've actually got Fender's schematic for the Deluxe with SCNs (three conductor). Now that I've given up on the Stew Mac switch, all I'm looking for is the same functionality that the S1 is normally set up with, but with the addition of Baggs piezo. I'll get it figured out, but I thought if someone was a wiz with this stuff, I might save some time.

Thanks again,

John
