Did anyone ever use fender 1954 pickups? What result did you get. |

After trying Lollar Blackfaces and Fralin Blues in my current strat, I wound up with the Fender Custom Shop '54's. I don't know how to describe them, but I like them a lot  They're similar to the Lollar Blondes I had in this clip with a Jazzmaster-esq guitar (a few pounds heavier) in the chime and attack, but with more body. I have put them in a couple of strats, the first at a customers request, the second set i recommended to a customer because i liked the way the first one sounded so much! |
