I have never done this, but I’m going to be installing the PFL12 purfling (from LMI), which is .060” wide and I’d like to buy a SCCBB .055” spiral cutter to do it. I plan on using a Dremel tool with a base and cutting about 1/16” deep into hardwood, and I’m worried that this small cutter will easily break off if it heats up (it costs about $20). Does anyone have experience with this or any suggestions for me? |
