Does anyone Know were you can purchase mahogany body blanks in Canada? They cost quite a bit to import from the usa? Hope somone here might have some leads??? Thanks, Terry... |

A&M wood in Ontario probably still has some Honduran they'd cut up. Shane Neifer at High Mountain Tonewood also has some. |

I don't know where you live but you can try this place, Craftsman Hardwoods 800-378-3782 and also Exotic Hardwoods in Burlington. |

I don't know where you're from, Terry, but I know of three places in and around Ottawa where you can buy mahogany. I don't know if you'd get a one piece slab, but you could always join them. Most wood places will let you cut a desired length off a board, and buying them this way will save you mucho deneros... PM me if you're in the area. |

Thanks, for the responces Ill check some of them out. Im in northern B.C. its been hard to find any mahogany around here, I thought that it must be banned or somthing? If I can purchase in Canada, it will save a lot of hidden costs. Thanks again, Terry... |

Black Forest Woods in Calgary has plenty of mahogany as well. Honduran. Khaya, Sapele, etc. |

I do have about 600 bdft of Honduras Mahogany in 16/4 form that I can saw into whatever works. Shane |

i know a place right where im from but it is also in ontario itts called exotic woods they probably have one of the largest selections of any kind of wood you might be able to order by phone, they do have a web site but you cant order from it. so try this number 905.335.8066 they even make blanks specialy mde for guitars and other instruments. when i was there last i checked out some curly honduras mahogany its prety amazing |

Hi Shane Ive been real busy, so I havent been on the forum much lately. But if you still have some mahogany I would be interested in some.
