About to drop some money with a dealer of "rare woods and veneers" in hemphill ave NW Atlanta and wonder if they are ok to deal with. No need for bad feedback just a simple no or if good lets know. Its an overseas import from here and a big part of the expense is freight.

apologies if this post is out of order

thanks

Richard is a great guy! I've done a lot of business with him over the years. Nothing but excellent things to say about him.

I've got nothing but good things to say about him. He's been there forever.

I got a chance to visit that shop and talk with them last May. It was an incredibly cool place, and he was super knowledgeable and helpful. They've got an outstanding reputation, and I wouldn't hesitate to buy from him.

As you can see, they kept the Braz in the most secure place laughing6-hehe

That's not even 1/2 the pics I took. The place is pretty large and has all kinds of wood, everything from exotics to reclaimed 100+ years old.

I've been buying from him for years. I've bought 50 year old quartered Honduran mahogany billets, Brazilian rosewood, African blackwood, quartered Pernambuco back and sides, etc. He has a great reputation and really knows his stuff. I hope he can help you out. Good luck!
