Finished one of two Teles for gifts.
African Mahogany, Maple, Mesquite.
Import hardware, US electronics, GFS pickups, plastic binding.
Action is a tad high, but I'll let it settle in for a while.
Waiting for lacquer to cure on another.

That's a good looking guitar Dan.

Can't say much good about that bridge though.

Noticed the missing fretmarkers and side dots right away and guess you went with white
to match the keys.

Thanks Michael,
I'm really pleased with the top. First time a tried a black burst. I bought black hardware, but the chrome looks better.
I went with pearl fret markers, tuners, and knob tops to keep it consistent.
I forgot the side dots again, but I did put them on the second one!
For $10 the bridge works fine and does not rattle, and it helped my budget.
I installed 10-46 strings which are heavier than I normally use. The action is high, but I'll fine tune the nut after the guitar sits in the house for a few days, and hopefully make it more playable.
I have not checked the relief yet either.

The saddle adjustment screws are what caught my eye...maybe cutting them to the saddle during setup would improve ?

The craftsmanship looks spot on and I agree that the top looks real good.

Steve, I used Transtint dye with water on bare wood for the burst.
I finished with Belen Nitro.
I bought the Maple from Goby Walnut.
