Hi, all. Just a quick question. I'm working on a 7 string build, would I be able to use a regular old neck blank or are those mainly for 6 strings? Would I be better off just cutting one myself?

You'll need something wider for a 7 string. Take a look at other 7 strings and see what kind of nut width you're dealing with. As far as cutting one yourself, that all depends on your skill level and tooling situation.
