I am building a hollowbody similar to the languedoc.. I have built a few guitars and I know this is going to be a challenge.. Can anyone tell me the type of
Neck pocket joint to use? Also I am wondering if I can use acoustic back a sides.. Is there any tonal difference in carving my own back? Any help would be appreciated..

Paul Languedoc uses a deep tenon neck on the G2 . As far as the side bending , that's a matter of choice . If you want to lean towards a more acoustic based tone then yes
