I've always wanted a Telecaster type project and I finally got one. It's a partscaster type and parts were acquired from eBay and friends whom had odds and ends lying about.

The body was acquired from eBay.

The neck and a large portion of the hardware was salvaged from a Squier Telecaster from a guy on a forum.

Tuners are Gotoh locking and lefty. Haha. It's ok. They work. Just gotta turn them the other way.

The pickups are 4 - lead Seymour Duncan Vintage Rhythm Stack and Little 59 for Tele. I'll be adding extra switches to take advantage of the extra leads.

Got started today.

The centerline of the body has been established and marked on the heel of the neck, too.

The lefty keys have been lined up and ready to be secured.

...and problems right out of the gate. Whilst trying to secure the keys, the head sheared right off the second one. I guess these used screws have been torqued a few times too many and this one was just done. Oh well. Drill and bigger screw time.
