This photo is the first time that I have seen any of these guys and I have no children that I am aware of . They sure are smiling .
I have no doubt that they are worthy recipients and I hope that the guitars stick around over there until the last soldier comes home .
I have received contacts from another forum and it appears that a couple of small amps will be headed their way .
PM me if you would like to participate and I will forward the name and address that will get it there .
The Tele was one that I had built some time ago and failed to find a returning left handed vet to give it to and then Nathan made contact over at Lefty Frets . The rest , as they say , is history .
The Esquire is a wired directly to the jack set up that I was intending to keep , but since it only cost me $20.00 each to send a guitar , I sent both .
I know of at least one lefty acoustic that has made the trip . I feel that a solid body will hold up better in that climate .
I don't expect anyone else to send a lefty , but I can't help but think that they could find use of a few rightys , even if they are a bit backwards .
Funny thing is that FOB Bullard probably has a better lefty wall than almost any GC .
