Anyone ever purchase hardware from AZGuitarParts.com? The bridges that they stock are outrageously inexpensive. Can anyone speak of the quality from their experience?

I've bought alot of my hardware and electronics from Stew Mac over the last few years and am trying to branch out.

Where do you purchase your bridges, pickups, tuning keys and so forth?

I like Allparts.

I go by the manufacture brand. If what I need is available at Allparts that's good because I have an account. Otherwise I just look around for who has the best deal or try to go direct.

Just ordered pups, tuners and a bridge from Guitar Fetish. Also have ordered a lot of stuff from Stew Mac and Luthier's Merc.

On ebay I've used choppers music. Got a couple others bookmarked that I haven't used, but may in the future.

Another site that interests me is guitarheads.net.

I have used Guitarfetish before, and will again if I'm on a super budgeted build. I think a lot of their hardware, especially bridges, is pretty good for the money. I've had no complaints, but I've also had realistic expectations about what I was getting.
However, as my skills as a builder progress, I'm increasingly loath to put anything on a build that doesn't have a decent brand name attached. Not that I'm knocking anything else, but there's a certain expectation of quality that comes with certain brands, and the more I build the more likely it is that other people, especially potential buyers, will be handling my work. It makes good sense to me to at least have decent branded parts on the instrument when this happens. MHO.

What pups did you order from GF?
I've ordered 4 sets and was particularly pleased with the crunch humbuckers.
I've also ordered two sets of their non-GF pups and was pleased, although my hearing is not that great these days and I do not yet own a good tube amp.

Ebay a lot of the time. There is a certain seller store called bezdez that sometimes has unique hardware products that I'll buy. He is in Canada so shipping is a little higher but he offers discount on multiple items.

I have used guitar parts resource as well as Callaham for some special items like a vintage Strat hardtail bridge .

I've used a MM Pro bass pup and am waiting on some Non GFS clearance pups. Couldn't pass them up for the price. The GFS MM pup sounds great.

I agree on using name brand parts if and when I get to building for others. At this point I'm still learning to build and on a budget.

I bought a non gf set that sounded fine. I bought another set of non gf overwound I should be able to install this weekend. For $30 a set, it's hard to not give them a try.
