Hey all,

Just got an email from Jerzy and his design software looks like it's ready. I don't own it yet so I can't Q &A it for you but just FYI.

Jerzy is one of the best "instrument designers" out there, he leads the title in my book, so if your looking for some new inspiration check it out, or at least check out his work. He's amazing.

Later.

Todd

He's using Rhino in the video (third party CAD software), and he says "you will get access to $995 CAD software for FREE!" on the website. Is he selling a license of Rhino along with his package? His product appears to be a library of CAD files, along with a copy of Rhino...I wonder what the pricing is going to be like?

Actually...lemmethinkaminute...I'm going to bet that he's suggesting you use the trial version of Rhino with limited saves and print your designs rather than saving them. Then you don't need to buy it.

Wellllllll I signed up on the site to see how much the software was, and come to find out, it is a online bass building course that this will be included in.

I had to click on two different email links to be absolutely sure I wanted to recieve information from them. gaah But I did it anyway just to find out about the software, then got a follow up email telling me to watch my email for the upcoming online bass building course! pfft

I will shortly unscricibe, assuming I can, but I want to see just how much junk mail comes in a week!

Mike

Knock off the sarcasm.

Jerzy is a builder and not a junk-mailer. He's been working on this for 3+ year and being from Spain sometimes his english translation isn't the best. I have a feeling his "online course" means "download only" and if I'm wrong, fine, but to post something purely to slander another builder and his work, or make others doubt his sincerity isn't cool. His "bass design software" has been interchanged with "online build course" in our emails.

This is serious work from a serious builder. If it's an additional software piece to Rhino, cool. If it's an online class with him guiding you through the steps, even better. But the "junk mail" and the "WELLLLL" isn't necessary or appropriate. If his name was Jim Olson, Jeff Elliot, Tom Anderson, Bob Taylor, Paul Reed Smith, or Martin Guitars you wouldn't jump to conclusions and post something just to vent your ego at.

If he's not clear on his delivery, cost, and detail that's fine, post that; but we're not your beer buddies here. This isn't the locker room. I have no right to belittle something your working on just like you have no right to belittle something I'm working on (or my friend is working on). This is a real builder who instead of posting all he wants to share all over the builder forums has, instead, spent years developing an idea that could actually be a tangible and helpful piece of software to guys like us. It might be unclear but it's not something to scoff at

Thus the FYI.
