can i put a truss rod in the back of a neck after its been shapped. I've been practicing on some pieces of birch and my system is working not all that bad but im thinking that it will be a lot more difficult when theres another piece of wood in there or just an empty slot.

Best way is to install the truss rod before you shape your neck.
