An US professional guitar maker, Daniel Roberts, for who I did some rasps and ended up being a friend, has made a video on his techniques to shape a guitar neck. I thought some of you may enjoy it. Cheers, Noel Liogier Part 1 : Part 2 : Part 3 : |

Very nice. I'm in the market for some new rasps, was wondering what you'd recommend for general shaping? Particularly how fine to go. I was thinking something around a 5 to 8 for rough shaping and a finer grain for more controlled work. I've always had good luck with cabinet rasps myself in terms of shape. |
