Yeah, I know this needs some tweaking and the caul is too big. :)





I need to play around with the temp a bit and lessen the pressure on the piece as the blanket did telegraph onto the plexi at points.

Is that one of the Radio Shack voltmeters with a thermocouple attachment? I've been thinking about getting one.

No, it's a CenTec from HF. They don't carry them anymore but I think they have a VOM with a themocouple that's not a bad deal.

Pretty cool Chris. I have formed polycarbonate using my oven, but haven’t tried using a bending blanket. I'll have to remember that one.Thanks for posting.

I've already use it for a armrest side template. I got the idea form a tutorial here on an armrest where he made a wood side template with a vacuum bag and wood. So I though if this works it would be easier and I could see through it.
